Started his career as a freelance architect and interior designer in Bandung (1997-2000), upon completion of his masters degree he joined the Kauffman Entrepreneurial Internship Program (2003) in Kansas City, USA, and worked as a database administrator at Sizewise Rentals LLC (2003–2005), also in Kansas City. Four years after, he started running his own firm in architecture and interior design in Jakarta, BIROE.
